CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
"The company was very helpful and went the extra mile after the sale. Not only did I get an email confirmation but also a phone call.... I have never gotten this great of “after the sale” treatment. I am recommending this company to family and friends."
–Michael T. of Kapolei, Hawaii

Gold $5 Liberty Head Coins

Minted from 1839-1908

The first Five-Dollar Gold piece was known as a "Half Eagle." This was the first gold coin actually struck by the United States government.

First Minted in 1839

The $5 Liberty Head gold coin design was popular from 1839 until 1929 when minting of all $5 gold U.S. coins ended.

Struck at 7 U.S. Mints

The $5 Liberty Head gold coin is the only gold series in our Nation's History minted at 7 different United States Mint branches! The design was created by Christian Gobrecht and features a Liberty head encircled by 13 stars representing the first 13 colonies.

Magnficent Heraldic Eagle Reverse

The reverse has a majestic Eagle with outstretched wings. In 1866 the motto "In God We Trust" was added above the head of the eagle in a flowing banner.

Photo is not the coin you will receive. Our choice of dates, mints and grading service.
