British Sovereign Kings
King George V - Minted From 1902 to 1932
For the first time in years, we just made a special purchase of British Sovereign Kings minted from 1911 to 1925. These are Pre-1933 Gold Coins exempt from confiscation and preserved in Brilliant Uncirculated, mint condtion.
First Minted in 1489
British Sovereign Kings have the distinction of being the most recognized and respected medium of exchange in the world for 500 years.
Since Sovereigns were first minted to honor King Henry VII in 1489, Gold Sovereigns have been the cornerstone of the Tudor Dynasty. Beautiful, Historic Designs - Each gold British Sovereign features the bust of the reigning Monarch– King George the Fifth. The reverse of each coin is the mythical “Saint George Slaying the Dragon" design.
Great Emergency Gold
British Sovereigns also have a fascinating military history. For decades, they were recognized worldwide as "emergency money." During World War II, Allied pilots carried British Gold Sovereigns in their survival kits as do American pilots in case they are downed over Iraq.
Today, British Sovereigns are also great emergency money and are exempt from U.S. confiscation laws, an important factor during the current banking crisis.
Double Profit Opportunity
We feel British Sovereign Kings are great gold buys today trading at small premiums over their gold content alone– when compared to U.S. gold coins of the same era. They offer you a "Double Profit Opportunity." First, Sovereign gold coins go up dollar for dollar with the price of gold.
Secondly, British Sovereigns have plenty of room to rise in value, as we've seen recently, due to increased collector demand.
Low Priced, High Quality
Best of all, we carefully hand-selected each British Sovereign in this release for high quality, crisp strikes, and great eye appeal. Hurry, this "Special Purchase" won't stay in stock long at this price! We reserve the right to refuse late orders due to limited availability.
